Accessing and using the website www.dovan-scissors.com implies your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions stated below. To avoid any misunderstandings, we recommend that you read them before using the site and placing an order.

PRODUCTS

The products sold on the website www.dovan-scissors.com are delivered on an order or pre-order basis. Through the presentation images used on the website, an attempt is made to reproduce the finished product as faithfully as possible. However, please note that, for various reasons, the colors you see on your monitor may differ from the actual colors of the products.

LOGIN

You can, if you wish, create an account on our website to place orders more quickly. Authentication can be done by creating a new account. Registering a new account is very quick and requires filling in three fields (Name, e-mail address, password). Safekeeping of the access password is your responsibility, the consequences of any activity carried out by using the password being entirely your responsibility. You agree to notify us immediately of any loss of your password or any signs of unauthorized activity under your username.

ORDERS

There is no minimum order requirement. All prices displayed on the website are in and include VAT. The shipping cost is displayed in the last step of the ordering process. After choosing the desired product/products and selecting their attributes (model, size, color, quantity), press the "Add to cart" button. The Cart section is located in the upper right corner and can be viewed throughout the navigation.

Completing the order is done by filling in personal data in the marked fields. All orders placed on working days (Monday to Friday) will be confirmed by phone within a maximum of 48 hours. After placing the order, you will be contacted by phone by an operator who will ask you to confirm the order.

For orders placed over the weekend, contact will be made starting on Monday. Orders that cannot be confirmed by phone will not be honored. The ordered products will be submitted to the courier for delivery only after the customer confirms the order by phone. According to the laws in force, the order placed on this website is considered a contract between the user and DOVAN INTERNATIONAL SRL and must be executed by both parties.

This means that DOVAN INTERNATIONAL SRL undertakes to deliver the ordered products and services, and the user undertakes to pay the value of the order. We reserve the right to change the prices displayed on the website when we deem it necessary. We do not assume responsibility for the inconvenience caused by the possibility of ordering a product for which the stock has been exhausted. However, we will do everything possible to announce the unavailability of an ordered product in the shortest possible time (by phone call, phone message or e-mail). The transport price is borne by DOVAN INTERNATIONAL SRL in Romania.

HOW DO I PAY?

All prices displayed on the website include VAT. Payment can be made by cash on delivery or online with a bank card, depending on your preferences. The data you fill in is safe, as www.dovan-scissors.com does not have access to your bank data. Prices are expressed in Ron and Euro and include VAT. Regardless of the currency you have in your account, transactions are made in both RON and EURO, depending on your personal preferences. The displayed price cannot be changed if payments are made within the limits of these two types of currency. Cards accepted for payment are those issued under the VISA and MASTERCARD logos. For card payment, the transaction will appear on the account statement under the name "Dovan-Scissors".

PAYMENT METHODS

Card data processing is done exclusively on PlatiOnline servers. The safety of your information is guaranteed by the fact that PlatiOnline does not store your confidential card data, but sends it encrypted over a secure connection to the processing bank. This way your information is safe. No additional commission is charged for transactions.

DELIVERY

From the moment of confirmation of the order placed on the website, the order will arrive in the customer's possession in the interval communicated by email or telephone. In exceptional situations (e.g. lack of stocks, busy periods of the year, etc.) there may be additional delays in delivery. Our company uses the courier services provided by various companies for the delivery of orders.

We are not responsible for delivery delays due to the supplier or courier. Likewise, damage, destruction or loss occurring during transport to the recipient shall be the responsibility of the carrier. The products you ordered from Dovan-Scissors.com will be shipped by Fan Courier in the next 1-3 working days.

For orders with delivery in Romania, shipping is FREE.

A delivery fee is charged for additional Kilometers only.

For orders with delivery outside Romania (Europe), the shipping cost is:

For orders over 500 Euros, delivery is free.

For orders under 500 Euros, the delivery cost is 35 Euros.

For orders with delivery in the USA, the shipping cost is:

For orders under 1000 Euros, the delivery cost is 85 Euros.

For orders over 1000 Euros, delivery is free.

LIFETIME WARRANTY

We offer a lifetime warranty on all DOVAN scissors against defects in materials and workmanship.

The scissors warranty does not include resharpening or damage caused by the scissors being dropped on the floor or misused (dirty hair, incorrect tension, overloading the blades and tip on thick strands) as detailed below.

Please note that damage to the edges of the scissors blade by chipping, dropping, incorrect tension, incorrect sharpening by another company, maintaining, cleaning or caring for your scissors with chemicals, autoclaves, sterilizers, barbicides or by not following our care instructions is not is covered by the warranty. All other accessories that come with the scissors are not covered by the warranty.

The warranty is only eligible for manufacturer defects and does not cover deformation and damage caused accidentally by misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs or wear and tear.

The warranty is null and void if the product has been modified in any way, including engraving, resizing or repair by a third party, such as a person other than a DOVAN specialist.

The warranty does not cover damage to the blade over time. As with any sharp object, such as knives, scissors, scalpel blades, etc., it will dull with use

Scissor care recommendations

We advise you to check, clean and inspect your scissors after each day of use. Cleaning them is done with a cloth/handkerchief with soap and water. Only sanitary alcohol (spirit) will be used for disinfection. DO NOT USE autoclaves, sterilizers, barbicides, etc. They damage the metal and the components. For maximum performance we recommend you send your clippers in for service at least twice a year or every 300-400 haircuts. Periodic service is not covered by the warranty.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE OF PRODUCTS

If, for various reasons, you are not satisfied with the purchased product, you can return or exchange it within 2 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order. Product return method:

By Express Courier – parcel without refund in which the account details are entered in which the money will be returned.

The shipping costs for returning the product will be borne by the customer in the following situations:

1). when the customer wants to exchange the product already ordered and delivered with another product on the website

2). when the customer wants to change the product for personal reasons

Shipping costs for returning the product will be borne by SC. Dovan International S.R.L in the following situations:

1) if the ordered product does not work properly

Refunds will be made within 7 working days at most from the date of receipt by DOVAN INTERNATIONAL SRL of the returned product. In the case of changing products, you must contact us in advance to send us the information related to the product you wish to exchange as well as the product with which you wish to exchange it.

Product exchange method:

By Express Courier - parcel without refund (when the courier delivers the new product, you must return the one you originally ordered). For products under PROMOTION (purchased therefore at a reduced price compared to the normal price), the exchange with a different product than the one originally purchased may attract additional costs adding up the difference between the full price of the product and the price paid by the customer if the desired product for instead, it is not in the PROMOTION either. CAREFUL! The return or exchange of products must be done within a maximum of 2 calendar days from the moment of receipt of the order placed on our website.

Products must be in their original packaging and not damaged in any way. All charges related to product returns, refunds, and reshipping of new products will be borne by the buyer. For orders paid by card, the amount will be returned to the same card used for the transaction.

PRIVACY

DOVAN INTERNATIONAL SRL undertakes to strictly respect the confidentiality of its clients' data and undertakes not to transmit clients' personal data to third parties. The data requested on this site are: surname, first name, telephone number, address and e-mail address. When you want to buy online you will be additionally requested: delivery address, billing address and payment method. The user's personal data may be used by DOVAN INTERNATIONAL SRL only for the stated purpose of this website, to send the user confirmation and delivery of orders.

RESPONSABILITATE

As a result of the legislation in force, the store has no responsibility regarding:

• delivery delays due to the supplier, the courier or for other reasons (provision of incorrect delivery data by the customer, failure to confirm the order in time)

• damage, destruction or loss occurring during transport to the recipient

• the inconvenience created by the interruption of access to the store due to the Internet Service Provider (ISP)

• the content or nature of the sites through which a customer reaches the store

• incorrect information provided by the buyer.

This has the possibility of correcting the personal data from the account created on the website at any time. We reserve the right to refuse an order at any point during the ordering process for a number of reasons, including:

a. the ordered product is not in stock

b. identifying an error in product information, including pricing or a promotional offer.
